Speech and Drama Fees

Now booking for Autumn/Winter 2023 & January 2024

Please note current Take2 students in any of our classes (Dance, Singing, Musical Theatre)  take priority on all waiting lists followed by siblings & children of past pupils.

The Take2 Speech and Drama School has been well recognised for its Speech and Drama coaching in Foxrock (South Dublin) for children & young adults since its inception in 1988.

Classes are taught in the afternoons/evenings to suit the after-school schedules. 

Monday:

4.30-5.30pm Ages 9-11 approx. 

5.50-6.30pm Ages 12-14 approx

Tuesday: 

4.30-5.30pm Ages 11-13 approx

5.30-6.30pm Ages 13-16 approx

Wednesday:

4.30-5.30pm Ages 7-9 approx

5.30-6.30pm Ages 15-18 approx

Thursday:

3.30-4.30pm Ages 5-8 approx *New September 2023 & now booking

4.30-5.30pm Ages 9-11 approx

Diploma Classes: On Request (Usually Monday evenings after 6.30pm) 

All students have the opportunity to take  Speech and Drama,  Public Speaking & Acting  Examinations with the ‘Irish Board of Speech & Drama’ (up to & including  Diploma level)  and take part in the All Ireland Hybrid  ‘Drama Teachers of Ireland, Drama Festival’. 

Speech and Drama classes help to encourage & develop valuable life skills such as improved articulation, superior vocabulary, public speaking skills, creativity and most importantly confidence

Tuition is for one hour per week (Weekdays)

Fee per term = €350.  We run 2 x 15-week terms per academic year.

Classes are kept small (max 10 students) ensuring plenty of individual attention.

There will also be Exam Fees in term one (Irish Board of Speech & Drama)

In term two there may be Feis fees – Speech & Drama Teachers of Ireland. (Optional)

Theatre trips throughout the year are optional.

Uniforms

Child Protection Code

Take2 prides itself on its encouraging enriching environment. We follow the Speech & Drama Teachers of Ireland Child Protection code.
Any behaviour which is deemed to be disrespectful or which has a negative effect on other Students or Teachers will not be accepted.
We have a ‘strike’ system in operation, after receiving a warning for disruptive/ inappropriate behaviour a child may receive a strike. Any student receiving 3 strikes will have their place withdrawn and fees will not be refunded.
